With previous experience in business ownership, Anita was no stranger to the trials and tribulations of running a business. She did however lack previous experience in healthcare, a factor which influenced her decision to choose a franchise opportunity.
“Healthcare was completely new to me, so franchising felt like the best option. Having the freedom to shape how your business grows as well as the support, expertise and guidance of a franchisor really does make all the difference.”
As Kare Plus Leeds goes from strength-to-strength, Anita says the recipe to her success requires only a few key ingredients.
“Be persistent and never give up. Invest your time in employing suitable individuals because the right team can play a pivotal part in building a successful franchise. Rely on your franchisor when you need to, they are there to support you.
“If you are considering franchising, make sure you don’t rush into anything. Always do your due diligence by researching the available territories and speaking to the current franchise owners of the specific franchisor.
